Electricity Bill
The
Retail Electricity Supplier (RES) may decide on the layout and format of its
bill. However, the following basic information should be included in clear,
readable print:
- Account name
- Service address
- Meter number
- Previous and
current meter reading
- Billing period
- Due date
- Amount due
(current and past due amounts)
- Distribution
Utility charges (distribution charge, metering charge, transmission charge
if applicable, and all other unbundled regulated charges)
- RES charges
(generation charge, transmission charge if applicable, supplier’s charge,
universal charge)
- Consumption

- Contact numbers
and email addresses of the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) for customer
