Compare offers
- You may compare
the RES’ offers using the table of comparisons on this page. Also,
the RES’ respective websites (if any) and contact details are provided
to enable you to further seek information regarding their price offers and
services.
- If you are
approached by a Retail Electricity Supplier (RES) who markets its services
to you personally, verify whether the RES is licensed by ERC. Ask for its
RES ID and confirm with the ERC, or check the list
of RES in this website.
- Once you have
seen the list, make a line-up of potential RES’, contact each one
and request for more information on their services. You may request a meeting
with them, or have them email or fax you a copy of their offers.
- Look into
the RES’ offer and discuss possible options. Evaluate your company’s
needs and resources. Choose an offer that’s beneficial for you. The
following may be considered:
- Price
– if savings and lower price is of most importance to you, take
a look at the pricing method each RES offers.
- Quality
of customer service – do the RES and its employees show sincerity
and capability to respond to your needs and address your concerns?
- Other
value added services – a RES may also offer services other
than electricity supply that may benefit you.
- Contact your
prospective RES if you wish to be provided with a more detailed offer. Should
the RES need to gain access to your consumption data, you should provide
the RES with Customer Authorization. Your consumption
data will be used by the RES to assess your specific electricity demand
and come up with a detailed offer that will form part of the Disclosure
Statement.
