III. Market Participants Obligations

d. Supplier of Last Resort (SOLR)

1. Obligation to provide Last Resort Supply service

The SOLR shall provide Last Resort Supply to contestable customers who suddenly find themselves without a Retail Electricity Supplier (RES).

2. Obligation to provide a SOLR Contract

The SOLR shall provide its customer with a SOLR contract, and shall switch that customer to SOLR service once the contract has been signed.

3. Obligation to follow the procedures in switching customers to the SOLR

The SOLR shall follow the procedures provided in the SOLR Guidelines in switching customers to SOLR service.

4. Obligation to file an application to the ERC for the approval of its SOLR Rate

The SOLR shall file an application to the ERC for the approval of its SOLR rate, which will be charged to customers that are switched to SOLR service.
